I finally figured how to post pics...

So I thought I would put some random pics up on this blog to figure out how to do it! I can only get one up at a time! So this is Beth and I at homecoming 2005... MTA reunion!

Here's a bunch of us sad cause Reader couldn't make it! (it's only cheap to fly in from Scotland for 2 nights!!) I would also like everyone to make notice of Joey Cook in the hot bathing suit... that's a weird tradition!

Well it's been a while since I've updated this thing! I don't want people to think Gordie is the only thing I care about! haha So I've finally figured out how to put pics up! This one is stolen from Giselle's site... Sorry, I guess I should have checked out copyright laws! But it's Alisha, Danielle, and I at christmas time! I had a great christmas, thinking back... Lots of folks home, which was SOOOO great. I loved seeing everyone. We also replanted the Cape Breton bug in Alisha and now she's coming home! I'm pumped! It's gonna be good to be "reunited" again. :) I guess I should say a bit of what I'm up to since there's ppl I haven't talked to in a while! I just got a job! WOOHOO! I have been praying for one that fit my schedule and God provided! He's good. I didn't think it would work well if I applied for a job and said, "By the way, you are going to have to work around me, if that's ok with you..." So I decided not to apply and a place I used to work at like 5 years ago called me and asked if I wanted to do the same job again, and they would accomodate my schedule! crazy eh! I'm entertaining old ppl at a retirement home. I'm excited to see my ol' pals again! :) I'm also excited to talk to Susan Kay (maceachern... whatever... haha) and exchange funny old ppl stories... They are the best ones! So I hope you read this Susan and get some good ones ready! Well I guess I will post some more pics up cause I know that's what people come on these sites to see anyways! haha All my love! Jack.

I just finished reading the FAMOUS Cape Breton Post and there was an article on Gordie Sampson and his recent sucess with his song "Jesus, take the wheel" that Carrie Underwood performs. Then I looked on his website and saw all the songs he wrote (ones I never knew he wrote at all!! For example "Paris" by Faith Hill and "Followed Her Around" by Jimmy Rankin! Great songs!) and was amazed! He is a really great writer! He has a rare talent and once he gets noticed, he is going to be OFF THE CHARTS! I'm proud of the guy. I don't actually know him, but because of the AMAZING pride of our INCREDIBLE island, everyone from CB feels connected, and it is quite possible that we're all related! Tenth cousins to us is a close relation! :) I love it! There is something extra special about this place! Well, that's all I have to say... I love Cape Breton and Gordie Sampson is incredibley talented and everyone should check him out. He is the next big star... and not because he barely wears any clothes and has long lucious flowing blond hair and has one lucky break with a crappy pop song about Hitting Babies one more time (??), but because he ACTUALLY has great talent! I'm excited to see where he goes and if he can put ol' CB on the map. If not, we can just stay here and bask in our great celtic pride...

I've Finally conformed!

Well, I know that everyone's first post is, "I've finally conformed to the blogging world!" and mine is going to be NO different! I didn't think I would be a blogger! haha But it's the only way I keep up with folks lives, so I guess I should do the same. This is all I have for the first one...
